
Haylee Whisson
Haylee Whisson is an emerging theatre maker and actor based in Perth. She is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Performance Making at the end of which she was awarded a residency at the Fremantle Art Centre. Haylee started writing and making theatre in 2015, as a part of an international ensemble whilst studying at the United World College of India. Since being back in Perth she has created and worked on a number of shows - most recently, Perth festival's 2020 'Highway To Hell'. She is passionate about working with multi-disciplinary theatre, combining text and movement with unique stories and perspectives, particularly those through the female gaze, and is excited about continuing to create original, inventive theatre.
